Events
So what do we hope to offer?
Well, we're hoping to offer some exciting events for you to get involved in. How do you fancy taking part in the making a film? Or how about starting a band? What about just having a party?
Community Barbecue
The Beechcliffe Face in association with the St Mark's Youth Club are holding a BBQ.
Thanks to funding from Bradford Vision it has been possible for the team from St Mark's Youth Club to organise a fun day and BBQ on the land on Arctic Street. Please contact us
for more information
Community Speedwatch
The Beechcliffe Face are currently looking for volunteers to take part in the Community Speedwatch campaign.
With the help of PCSO Tim Stobart the volunteers will be trained in the use of the hand held speed gun and will spend an hour or so targetting speeding motorists. The registration number of all vehicles found to be breaking th speed limit will be recorded and the motorist will be sent a letter advising them that they have been caught speeding. More information can be found here
Film Project
Do you like the idea of being an actor, director or cameraman/woman?
Well in 2007, your ambition could become reality, as we're hoping to launch a film project. As a group, you would be responsible for the subject of the film, the script writing, the acting, the direction, the filming and the cutting. Once it has been made there will be a showing of the film and a party after to celebrate the release. Who knows it might just be the next big hit...
If you're interested in taking part, please contact us to discuss.
Rock School
Do you want to perform in a band?
This could be your chance! In 2007 you may be able to get involved and learn or improve your skills with a guitar, drums, bass etc.
You could be given the chance to prove your worth and possibly start a band! If you're good enough there may even be a chance to get it recorded in a professional studio!
If you're interested in taking part, please contact us to discuss.
